Kandel is seeking regional/OTR drivers based in Akron . Most trips consist of trips to one of the following points.

  • Northern IL
  • Boston, MA
  • Toronto, Ontario
  • Montreal , Quebec
  • Central NJ
  • Philadelphia, Pa
  • Syracuse, NY
  • Saco, Maine

Most of our freight is no-touch, however, there are a couple locations where you may be required to unload with a hand jack, and you may be asked in some cases, rarely, to re-stack, sort or segregate some freight.


Pay is mileage based plus a mileage percentage incentive for regional drivers and quarterly bonus incentive for OTR drivers. In addition to base pay, applicable accessorial charges are also part of the drivers pay. This is just a general overview of drivers pay, exact pay details are presented to applicants when hired.

Company will reimburse the first $1,500/$3,000 towards deductable.


All employees receive $10,000 life insurance at no cost, along with short and long term disability insurance at no cost. The disability covers 60% of your income up to $500.00 per week for up to 5 years.


All benefits begin the first of the month following 30 days service. So if you start working in May, your coverage would begin July 1.


VACATION: (1) week vacation earned after 1 year, (2) weeks after 2 years & (3) weeks after 5 years.
