Part time drivers are valued
here at Kandel Tranport to
even out the surge in freight and also to help our full time drivers when
relief is needed and /or to keep the OTR and regional drivers on the longer
runs.
We are looking for part time
drivers to run local trips both during the week and on weekends and do meet and
turns with our OTR / regional drivers. Most of these runs are simple drop and
hook moves. Drivers will be expected to be available to run anywhere from 600 miles,
and may run up to 1500 miles in a week.
Part time drivers may be asked if they would do an overnight run
occasionally.
If you prefer to run every
week or you?d like to be an on call P/T driver, we can accommodate both.
Pay is mileage based, with a
mileage percentage incentive and,
in addition to base pay, applicable accessorial charges are also part of the
drivers pay. The pay will be presented in
detailed upon being hired.
A part time employee that
currently or commits to obtain a passport is very desirable to us and would be
used to shuttle trailers to Canada to do meet and turns with our drivers.
